Senior Associate (M&A) – Take a key role in corporate transactions

We are seeking an experienced M&A lawyer who wants a responsible role throughout the entire lifespan of corporate transactions – from groundwork to closing. You will work closely with partners and clients, take responsibility for project management, drafting transaction documents and participating in contract negotiations.

In this role, you will be a central part of AVAIL’s team, contributing to a wide range of assignments. The position is permanent, and we hope you can join as soon as possible – by January 2026 at the latest

What does day-to-day life look like at AVAIL?

Our team currently includes eight lawyers and one trainee. All our lawyers – including partners – are actively involved in client work from start to finish. Our distinctive approach lies in the way partners engage in every facet of the assignments – from the first steps to the final signature – ensuring hands-on collaboration and genuine learning opportunities. This creates an environment where professional growth, shared responsibility, and practical insight into running a successful law firm naturally intertwine.

Key requirements:

• Approximately 6 years of experience in M&A-focused roles
• Ability to draft transaction documents and manage M&A projects
• Responsibility and willingness to contribute to the firm’s development alongside the team
• Strong substantive expertise with interest in further specialization
• Excellent communication skills in Finnish and English
